2 lbs. raw peanuts
2 T Hawaiian salt
1 Bhat Gok (Star Anise)
Soak peanuts overnight in water. Use weighted plate to keep peanuts in water.
Wash peanuts until water is clear.
Place peanuts in pot and add water 1½ inches above peanuts.
Add salt and Bhat Gok.
Cover and bring to boil. Simmer for 30 minutes or until peanuts are soft.
Let stand for 1 hour.
